Kristin Hellen Andersen, VP IT at G2 Ocean
Kristin Hellen Andersen is Vice President IT in UnITy, the joint IT department established between G2 Ocean, Gearbulk and Grieg Star. She has 15 years of experience working with technology driven management both in private and public sector. Her area of responsibilities has mainly been in the interface between business and IT, as Head of IT or Head of Business Development. Before Kristin went into Shipping in 2018 she has been working with digital strategy and projects with a special focus on transformation within different business sectors, ranging from Consulting to Transportation. Kristin truly believes that IT can be an important business driver in the digital transition Shipping is experiencing.
In her presentation she will talk about gathering and working with data on vessels to communicate onshore.
Oistein Jensen, Chief Sustainability Officer at Odfjell
Øistein Jensen was appointed as Odfjell’s first Chief Sustainability Officer in 2020. He joined Odfjell in 2016, came from the position as Director at PWC, and has previously held various managerial positions in the Royal Norwegian Navy. Jensen also serves as a member on the board of the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN).
In his presentation he will talk about Odfjell’s data collection and will share perspectives using data for the twin transition of digitalization and decarbonization.
Ari Marjamaa, CEO, Raa Labs
Ari Marjamaa has broad experience from management, strategy as well as technology driven business development within the maritime industry. Prior to his role as CEO of Raa Labs, Ari was Chief Transformation Officer in Wallenius Wilhelmsen. Previously, Ari served as a Director within a global maritime management consulting unit in DNV GL. He also has experience from technology investing with a leading Nordic venture capital company, as well as from academia. Ari holds a MSc in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and Universität St.Gallen.
Ari’s presentation will focus on ways to use data for ship operations.

Jason McFarlane, CTO, Hyke - Hydrolift Smart City Ferries
Jason McFarlane is passionate about innovation and emerging technologies and how they can be utilized towards more sustainable and liveable cities. His strong technical foundation in systems development is combined with a creative drive for exploring new and better solutions and the ability to bring ideas to realisation. Jason holds a degree in Computer Systems Engineering, and an MSc in Information Systems Management. He started as CTO at Hyke in 2021 bringing with him broad cross-industry experience with several roles at management level, including 14 years at Kongsberg Maritime with most recent focus on research and innovation as well as the concept and technical development of autonomous systems.
Asbjørn Halsebakke, Manager, Technical Solutions, Marine at Yaskawa Environmental Energy / The Switch Norway
Asbjørn Halsebakke is an experienced technical manager for marine with a demonstrated history of working in the electrical and electronic manufacturing industry. He is skilled in power electronics, electrical wiring, management, transformer, continuous improvement and research and development (R&D). He is a strong sales professional with an MSc focused on power electronics from The Artic University of Norway (UiT).

Jon Grunnan is a father of three and the VP Group IT (CIO) for the cruise company Hurtigruten. He came to Hurtigruten after several years in different IT-related positions in the retail and telecommunication industries. Founding his first company at 16, he was one of the youngest IT entrepreneurs in the country. Later this passion for business and IT made him a top-ranked consultant in Accenture and a participant in McKinsey’s Young Executive Forum.
His mission is to make Hurtigruten the top performer within IT, OT and AV in Expedition Cruise. Satellite communication, infrastructure as code and cyber security are at the top of the agenda.
